Bee Bee tree seedlings and seeds for sale.
« on: September 01, 2014, 08:57:53 PM »
I have Bee Bee tree seedlings and seeds for sale. These trees provide an excellent source of nectar yielding bloom from July well into August. This late bloom is what makes these trees so valuable to both bees and and beekeepers. I have four mature trees and standing under them in August the hum from the bee activity is just tremendous. The seedlings are in small peat pots. These pots are designed to disintegrate so transplanting isn't necessary. They can be put as is into a larger pot or right in the ground. As availability and size will fluctuate, please contact me for current info on what I have either through a PM here or at John677x@yahoo.com.

John
What hardness zones do they grow in, light, soil, water, Price?
What is the proper name for them, So they can be looked up?
Where are you located?

What I found is in some areas it is considered invasive.
It grows freely in USDA hardiness zones 4-8, prefers full sun, and is tolerant of a wide range of soil pH.

Post more information.   How long before flowering, price and how to reach you.  If these are fast growing they I might try some.

Sorry for the late reply, I hadn't known there were replies to the post. The trees typically flower in 4 to 5 yrs. They are fast growing and can grow 5ft. in a single season first few yrs. The scientific name for them is Tetradium Daniellii. I have a good supply of 3-4" seedlings at $8ea. 6-7" at $11ea. and 8-9" at$14ea. I do have bigger seedlings as well and if you contact me I can give a current list on what I have available. Please contact me here or at john677x@yahoo.com with any questions.

Can you ship the plants?  How far are you from Roanoke, Al?  We are thinking about a vacation and maybe I could swing by.
