Bees in Odd Places
Recently a member of the World of Beekeeping team was traveling through Europe. Like many places in the states, bees are often kept on buildings in big cities where land won’t allow them to be on the ground. Both the Paris and Vienna opera houses have bees on them and this picture is from the Jardin du Luxembourg where there have been hive and a beekeeping school since 1856.
